An Alleged Motorcycle Snatcher Beaten to Coma in Lokoja

Reporter: Friday Abu- Lokoja.

In the Early hours of today, an alleged motorcycle snatcher was beaten into coma in lokoja at the first 200 Housing Unit along the Ganaja - Ajaokuta road. The motorcycle snatcher was found been surrounded by passer - by with misfeelings.

According to an onlooker, Mr. Abdullakeem Musa who adviced youths to engage in gainful venture rather than stealing said that what has happened is an expected end of anyone who is swallowed by the get rich quick syndrome. Adding that government should provide job for the unemployed graduates to keep them busy because an idle mind is the devil's workshop.

" It is painful and disheartening but also right for anyone who refused to engage in meaningful and gainful venture that will better their life Noting that the expected end of any thief is death and that young people should not be swallowed up by the get rich quick syndrome. It is also important to note that government at all levels should live up to their responsibilities by providing job for the unemployed youths in the society".

Kogi Issues gathered that men of the Nigeria Police Force came to the scene and took the victim to the hospital.

The Industrial Training Fund Lokoja Area Office organized the 2020 interactive forum in Lokoja with the aim of x-raying the activities of the Fund. The meeting is to serve as an avenue for stakeholders to air their opinions of the activities of the Fund in relation to service delivery so as to enable the Fund serve clients better in the area of training and capacity building.
