The Inspector General of Police Dissolved SARS.

The Inspector General of Police, Muhammad Adamu has Dissolved a subunit of the force, the Special Anti-Robbery Squard (SARS) across the 36 state police commands and the FCT. The dissolution of the subunit was made public on Sunday in the wake of several civil protests demanding for the scrapping of the unit for allegations of brutality and fundamental human rights violation across the country. Reporter :  Friday Abu- Lokoja.  In the Early hours of today, an alleged motorcycle snatcher was beaten into coma in lokoja at the first 200 Housing Unit along the Ganaja - Ajaokuta road.
